1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of www.jvrexport.com (the "Website") operated by JVR Export, a registered Indian trading company based at the address listed below (GSTIN 36ANFPJ4032P1ZS). By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Use of the Website
- The Website is intended for legitimate business inquiries relating to the products we trade.
- You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity, to scrape content for resale, or to interfere with site availability.
- You may print or download a reasonable extract of content for your own non-commercial reference, but you may not republish it commercially without our written permission.
3. Product Information
Product descriptions, specifications, images, sample SHU/curcumin levels, ASTA colour values and other quality parameters published on this Website are provided in good faith as general indicative information. Actual specifications of each lot will be agreed at the time of order through a written quotation, sample approval and pre-shipment lab report.
Images of products are illustrative only and may not exactly represent the appearance, size or packaging of a given lot.
4. Pricing and Quotations
- No prices are published on the Website. All quotations are issued separately on request and remain valid only for the period specified in the quotation (typically 3โ7 working days for spices, subject to international market movement; 24โ48 hours for steel due to mill price volatility).
- A quotation is not a binding contract until confirmed in writing through a Pro-Forma Invoice or Purchase Order accepted by both parties.
- All prices are exclusive of GST (for domestic supply) and exclusive of destination-country duties, taxes and clearance charges (for exports), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. Trade Terms
- Domestic supply (India): Subject to GST law, the Indian Sale of Goods Act 1930, and standard ex-works / FOR / delivered terms as agreed in the invoice.
- International supply (Spices Division): All export sales are governed by the latest Incoterms (as referenced in the quotation โ typically FOB or CIF) and any specific terms accepted by both parties in the Pro-Forma Invoice.
- Title to goods passes to the buyer in accordance with the applicable Incoterm.
- Risk passes in accordance with the applicable Incoterm.
6. Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing per transaction. Typical norms are 50โ100% advance for first-time customers and a documented credit arrangement (e.g. 30% advance / 70% against shipping documents, or LC at sight) for established trade relationships. Late payments may attract interest as specified in the Pro-Forma Invoice.
7. Inspections and Claims
Any visible quality or quantity discrepancy must be notified within 7 days of arrival at the destination port (for exports) or destination warehouse (for domestic supply), accompanied by photographs, sealed-bag samples (where applicable) and any third-party inspection reports. Claims received after this period or after the goods have been further processed will not be entertained.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any single transaction will not exceed the invoice value of that transaction. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive or loss-of-profit damages.
9. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control โ including but not limited to natural disasters, port strikes, government action, war or civil unrest, shipping-line disruption, pandemic-related restrictions, or sudden export-import policy changes.
